| | straight out of the kitchen : HERBY fettucine in mushroom & HERB sauce.
a review.
considering the fact that he has never ever cooked before in his entire life, skipped the basics of frying an egg or making instant noodles and going straight into making pasta, i'll give him a star. =P you know he added salt instead of sugar the first time he made a cup of coffee for me. fortunately he didnt make the similar mistake this time! all the boilling and stirring.
although he didnt make the sauce himself (ready-made sauce from the
supermarket right), its okay. its his first time. at least he knows
adding some olive oil and spices here and there would make the taste
better. BUT.
too much thyme. our pasta tasted a little too herby. and i really, really tried to finish it. but i was too full. not because the taste was bad. i thought it was okay. our chef couldn't finish it either. quoted "i feel like im eating grass". and so we ended it with a glass of sparkling juice, before running to the mirror together. to check if there was any leaves stuck on our teeth.
overall, it was fun to watch him cook. (i should've made him wore an apron) i'd give him 5/5 rating for effort and time!
